Forums - Nintendo - Please Understand, still no TVii in Europe

Way to miss a key feature that makes the gamepad worthwhile in the region you struggle the most in.

I thought that was the games? Not some extra that hardly anyone uses.

well considering how shit our VOD services are in Australia I doubt this will ever come here. Hell the Nintendo Au site doesn't even advetise it as a feature.

It would be nice to be able to get netflix and hulu here. America as all the good shit lol.

Oh stop complaining, you can get foxtel for just $89 per month on a 24 month contract.

Seriously, those evil *%6t$ need to die.

What is TVii exactly? To me it's just an OS icon that gives an error when executed.

Its actually a pretty neat feature.

It lets me search ALL of my content on Cable, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime
Follow show/event and talk to others watching real-time via miiverse.
See when my favorites are one in all of these formats and even changes TV appropriately if I want to watch it through any of these services.

What I usually use it for is a companion to live sports and/or see all sports scores.

However it could improve GREATLY.

Its not always perfect in what channel options I have for a cable broadcast item.
It doesn't allow interconnectivity with Cable ON Demand or DVR functionality as it was promised.
Its system to change tv input/channel is clunky as all hell.

While its neat, its not something that is close to a real winning feature for most.

Thanks for the update! It sounds so region specific, that even if the Miiverse interaction sounds interesting... I would not be able to use it with Dutch content.
