I know there's probably not lots of hockey fans on this website, but I know you do exist...

Anyone else a little upset that there is no NHL game on next gen consoles? Not even an upgradable NHL 14 from PS3 > PS4 or 360 > One?

I thought it was pretty stupid of EA sports not to make it for next gen consoles as well... I feel like the hockey department is lazy as fuck.

I mean they gave us Fifa 14, that came out a week after NHL 14? Somehow that ends up on next gen, NBA 2K14 for all consoles which came out a little bit after Fifa? NBA Fucking Live 14, which is deemed practically garbage.... Two NBA games and not one hockey game? You fucking serious? MADDEN 25... That game came out in August and it STILL got a next gen release? What an utter fucking joke.

Then you look at NHL 14 "No next gen port coming, PS3 and 360 only."

God it's so fucking annoying that we need to wait a full year on something that could have been easily done, as the examples above CLEARLY show..

Still waiting for my NHL psvita game :(. But yeah a NHL for PS4 would have been sweet but then again it would have most likely just been a port of the ps3 version.

Honestly.. with the average sales NHL has.. it's probably better not to have one now.. splitting up its small userbase and probably losing a lot of sale of being cross gen.. NHL 14 probably wouldn't cross a million if they released it also on next gen with current gen people not buying it untill they upgrade..

better to have a cheap update on the ps360 next year and a full fledge sequel on next gen..
