I feel that sports games in general are garbage and when you buy a game every year you are paying 60$ of your hard earned money to a garbage company in exchange of a roster update.

That being said, I prefer NHL over other sports, but I'll be damned if I'd ever give EA sports one dime of my money. Give me a 2K NHL game and I would consider it.

I feel your pain. The NHL series are the only sports games I really enjoy. Hockey just seems to translate better to video games than other sports. Soccer and football are ok, and baseball and basketball are cringe worthy as video games imo.

I've always enjoyed hockey more than football and the other football, it's just a shame the interest is not high enough for there to be more hockey games especially from other devs.

I love hockey. It is such a great sport, and it is a shame it doesn't get the same treatment that other sports games get.

That said, I am not a huge sports gamer. Usually just one or two per generation. Tiger Woods 10 was amazing this past gen, and between that and the two Wii Sports I got my fix. My last NHL game was on the Gamecube.

Bottom line is that Hockey is not as popular as other sports. So, you'll have to wait a little while to pay EA 60 bucks for an up-rez.

I'd rather play a terrible game than giving some money to EA Sports.

I passed on initial offerings anyways as planned on first next gen sport games being 2014. MLB the Show looks good, but many of EAs offerings have been underwhelming thus far.
