Who even looks at GOTY awards anyway? I mean, they're neat and all, but why would you use it to decide purchases?
Every year I keep myself not to see VGA. This year I didnt saw it. Now I know what to do next. This show is dead. As for new announcements I can see them at n4g / youtube / other sites.

Yes but who cares? If you had fun with it then that is all that matters. GTAV was a great game and most of us knew it was going to be tight. VGX was crap anyway so even if TLoU won the award there it would not me of any significance in my view.
