MS lie? No way... But really, who cares? 100k is nothing when you look at the long game. In fact Sony's lead is nothing when you look at the long game. It's nice to see sony ahead right now. But it's still a fight from here on out. As long as one of the two don't fall off.

I am not that fussed, it's only 100k, and when things start to settle, there will be no hiding place for BS statements. If the consoles take a nose dive sales wise, they can talk as much as they want about shipped or anything else, when NPD and other data comes along it will be quite obvious.  

I also dont get why people take what forum dwellers say about details that cannot be checked to heart so much. Take it with a pince of salt and just wait... the truth will always be revealed :)

We don't know how much they have shipped or how often, all we know at the moment is that there seems to be alot of stock around. Next week we will know if MS have been really good at stocking stores quickly as it sells out, or its just not selling as well as the speed of the stock going into the stores. No biggie... but certainly nothing to get all upset about 100k.

It doesn't make me feel better because it's a few more 100k ahead. It does make me feel better that MS had to lie to make them feel better^^

If it was not 3 Mil by the time of this post it probably is now. If youre gona anounce sales and its at 2.9 mil might as well go and say its 3 mil, 2.9 mil sounds like 2 for a lot of ppl, its the same deal fo selling productas at a 2.99 price rather than 3 flat, psychologically 2.99 is 2 and 3 is 3.

I and others in VGC already pointed that to both numbers.... 2m and now 3m... the numbers didn't match with others trackers like NPD, GFK, etc... unless Latin American sold way over 500k units.

To be fair MS had the shipped numbers and thougth they sold out everything... so maybe 3 million is the shipments and 2.8 the real sales.

BTW every week I pointed Xbone is overtracked here shoing evidences and numbers from external trackers.

Caring no, however I would say it's uncanny coming from MS, that would have been just as good the other way... I mean, can't they be honest about anything? at this point this is just a sad spectacle to look at them go around... and looking at people arguing about the xb1 being secretly amazing... while others say it completely suck (well, to be fair it's disapointing).

If they accepted their place and did not try to make it by faking it they would have much much more sympathy, at least from me. (look at nintendo with the Wii U, people make fun of it, but there is no mass hating at nintendo for it).
