Now that a spiritual successor to Link to the Past is done, Nintendo should work on a spiritual successor to Majora's Mask...loved the realtime element, but I would have loved to have had a lot more tasks to fulfil...it introduced a nice little nonlinearity to the game

Was it actually real-time?

I remember going past the 3 day limit at least once, but according to the Wii I only spent 60 hours on the game.

I'm talking about the gameplay element (ie. People are "scheduled" to perform duties at certain times over the 3 days).

You actually played the game, right? You do realise that the 3 day limit is talking about the game's 3 days, that are able to be replayed over and over?

Yeah I played it, I just thought real-time meant the clock was linked to real time (ie an hour in the game = an hour playing it) but yeah now that I think about it a number of other games people have referred to as real-time obviously don't follow a real 24h schedule, my bad.

It's great, I plan to replay it this year

Hope you enjoy it

nope hes a boss and beat the game all in the first 3 days

I remember when I used to think that the 3 days time limit was REALLY a 3 days time limit so I thought had to finish the game before those days passed on real time, that was until I got the Ocarina of Time back, then I knew that I could get back on time every time I wanted to.

They say it is pretty good, I have Ocarine on my 3DS but it bores me to tears.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Roughly.... there's several definitions for real-time (in a software engineering perspective, all interactive games can be classed as realtime). I still think the game always obliges to it's running time though (as in, 1 game day will always be x Real time minutes long)

Did you never discover the Inverted Song of Time?

I forgot the inverted song of time, but that's still the same concept, just twice as fast, right?
