From what I know You don't know jack is a pretty awesome game, at least on PS3. Other than that I think you did a pretty good outsider review. :D


Every game Ive played on ouya has been badass. not to mention all the popular games on old platforms you can play

I can also do that on my Macbook, and my PSP, and my phone, and my tablet, only electronic I have that can't emulate old games is my toaster. And at least that makes toast. What does the Ouya do? 

You can use it as paperweight.


Not really, it isn't heavy enough to keep itself flat on the ground while plugged into a hdmi port. It weighs about the same as a smart phone with no screen... ya know... cos it's an old smart phone with no screen... or battery.

You can't even use it to throw at your brother??? It is so ligth that wouldn't hurt?

Odd scale of rating consoles, but yeah... it'd hurt if you threw it at someones face lol, it's just that the weight of the system isn't enough to keep it flat on the ground if the hdmi is stretched to the TV, it weighs 275grams so.... 1/13th the original 360s weight.

For anyone thinking of buying one of these things there are loads of videos on youtube where you can watch people trying to make the most of them, and with like.... hours of work you can get it to almost run GTAsanandreas in a really bad, no music version of the ios port of that game with maybe 5fps. Ashens on youtube is a damn funny/sarcastic british comedian/reviewer of junk/games his review of it was pretty cool just shows what comes in the box and a few more bits (his channel is actually fantastic btw, has hundreds of videos, 200k subscribers, definately recommend) but yeah Dont fall into the trap of it being a good value console for 100dollars, it really is just an old phone with no screen, a hdmi port and a cheap copy of the 360 pad.

Maybe they should have stick with a controler emulator for up to 5th gen (there is a lot of them)...

Maybe someone will make Ouya play Ryse with 1 fpm (frame per minute)... that would make a nice screen saver.

This console might not even be around in a year or so, so "Ouya" = Oushit"...at least that's probably what the creators are saying at this point.

So much for it challenging MS and Sony for the crown...but how people thought it would is beyond me...

Just utter disillusion and kickstarter together basically. people were amazed that they had got together 8million dollars and what a giant console it could be considering originally they had only asked 950k I mean that clearly meant that with 950k they could make a system so with 8 times that it could be the biggest beast of all times... But no when it comes to console creation 8 million dollars.... Sony/MS/Nintendo spends more than that on the boxes for their consoles and printing out coloured displays and stands for inside stores to advertise their systems.

People just got lost in how "big" it was compared to the origin number, both of which were nowhere near enough to fund actual console R&D or to ever be able to get a proper system rolled out across the whole world. Imagine I told you that if you gave me 5euros I could fly my spaceship to the moon, that 5 euros would be enough to start a colony up there and would bring up 10 people, now imagine my project instead gets 500euros... what planet will my colony be on? how many hundred people will be going to space? well... it's still no one.
