Lets use some people logic... PS3 have Always been at least 100 more expensive. Roughly 2 games... On 80M userbase we have 160M there goes the total difference.

Moving goal is good, why not compare 360 and Wii 20M+ seller? Who would be King?

Welcome to the little leagues PS3. 1 million is for wimps. 2 million is what should be aspired to :)

Wouldnt worry about it, PS3/Xbox 360 is last gen, it's all about nextgen now. Sure the PS4 will do abit better on these numbers....  ;)

PS3 is 3rd overall right behind PS which has 206 million sellers (should actually end up beating it) and the King of course PS2 with the most at 325 (untouchable).

The Playstation brand has ALWAYS been about the games and the most unique new different games, it's nice to see a company branch out and try new franchises, can't wait to see what's to come on the PS4 in the next few years.

Does not really matter as they have been statistically tied for awhile now while its within 10 games. Only when PS3 has about 20 more million sellers is it clear. Also MS does not really give out much SW numbers and what we know is limited with everyone else. So I think a 20 lead on Vgchartz should be good.

Judging by Dark Souls' performance, I expect Dark Souls 2 to be a similar million seller on PS3 / not on 360.

Same deal with Lightning Returns, using XIII-2's performance as a template.  It needs a million sales from NA; EU & other to reach 1 million on 360; it needs ~ 600k on PS3, and like XIII-2 I think it'll make it on PS3 but not 360.

Persona 5 won't make it.  The series has grown in popularity, but it's still "internet-popular" rather than real world popular.  It'll put up a good fight but fall short.

P4g sold 700k on Vita so far with at least half of those Western sales, and you don't think a proper sequel on PS3 can crack 1 mil?

P4G released within the first year of Vita's life.  P5 will be releasing in the twilight years of PS3's life, just like P3 & P4 did.  May well be a 2015 release in the USA & Europe.

I think it'll struggle a lot.

edit: I just noticed you used the 700k figure too.  That's shipped + digital.  The OP was comparing VGC figures in this thread.
