Hey, uh, I was kinda kidding about Minecraft, guys.
Notch already confirmed that there aren't any current plans for a Wii U version.

Actually, a literal reading of his comment is that HE doesn't know about plans for a Wii U version. The choice of wording is rather curious - he doesn't say that there are no plans, just that he's not aware of plans. He then follows it, a little later, with the statement that he loves Nintendo, thinks Minecraft on Wii U would be a great idea, and that his dev studio has too much work already, and thus can't devote time to it.
Tantalus isn't his dev studio. The Minecraft Wii U rumour said that the gamepad would be the focus, which would make it a reimagined version of the game. The other fact noted in connection with the rumour is that Nintendo says it has a "continuing relationship" with Mojang (it's fact, not part of the rumour itself). Microsoft published the 360 version of Minecraft.
So let me sew it all up into a plausible scenario...
Nintendo, in its talks with Mojang, raises the idea of Minecraft for Wii U. Mojang expresses interest, but notes that they're very busy, and don't have the resources to devote to it at this point. They won't have the resources available for quite a while, so it would take a long time to get the game done for Wii U - Nintendo wants it sooner, rather than later.
The idea is raised of having another dev studio work on it. Mojang offers to allow Nintendo to enlist one of a few independent dev studios they consider trustworthy enough, and to have access to Minecraft's source, so long as Mojang gets a good deal out of it. Nintendo selects Tantalus, and development starts, but Mojang is completely unaware of any of the details, and thus can honestly (technically) claim to not know of plans to release the game. In the meantime, either Tantalus or Nintendo leak just enough information to certain places to result in a retailer itself "leaking" the existence of Minecraft U... but, lacking any further detail about its development, comes up with the most plausible explanation based on their information - Mojang has Wii U dev kits and are making the game.
I'm not saying this is what happened. But it's not implausible. Also note the second plausible explanation - Notch wasn't 100% truthful. It wouldn't be the first time that a video game personality bent the truth.
I actually think Kingdom Hearts 3 is more plausible than Minecraft U. Which isn't to say that KH3 is the most likely option. Just one that I particularly like the thought of it being, that fits the circumstances.

Even if it is old, it won't be like those games. It was said it won't be "hardcore" like Deus Ex, meaning it will be geared towards people of all ages. I have my doubts that it's minecraft though because Notch was labled as an indie developer when it created Minecraft, I'm not sure they are considered Triple A yet. Minecraft certainly didn't cost the amount of money to make that a triple A title would so I don't consider it TA myself.
Skyrim for WiiU ?
Bethesda could be making PS4/Xbone versions and left the WiiU one to be done by another developer.

Minecraft is absolutely not an AAA game by the popular definition.

Bethesda would never allow that to happen. Mian reason being because Tantalus would probably do a better ob proting then them to PS4/ONE and then they will have no excuses for their shit effort and won't be able to blame lack of CPUs or GPU or Ram or whteverelse they cna think of lol.

Quality control is a concept unknown to Bethesda.
