It's all about sustainability. Look at vitas software performance. It's not good either. Let's see what vita does post holidays. Not that they had an incredibly strong holiday tbw

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

When Monster Hunter, GT, GTA, Infamous, Assassin's Creed etc are announced for it with bundles, it will reach its peak.

It already started up over 100% yoy in Japan... so the peak will come yet.

Vita already has an Assassins Creed so I dont see that pushing sales much.

There is already Uncharted and Killzone which are bigger first party franchises so I dont see Infamous doing much either unless Second Son drastically increases the series popularity.

Monster Hunter could help alot but only if its a mainline installment and exclusive. The 2 best selling Monster Hunter games on PSP sold about 4-5 million, well right now MH4 on 3DS is at 3.2m and growing, by the end of 2014 it will probably be around 4m so a very high percentage of MH fans have already migrated to 3DS and im not conviced they will jump ship to Vita unless its mainline and exclusive.

Gran Turismo and Grand Theft Auto could very well boost sales quite a bit and an exclusive God of War/Metal Gear Solid/Resident Evil/Final Fantasy as well. I doubt any one game will do the trick but maybe a combination of the games u listed and the ones I did could give Vita the boost it needs for sustained sales.

Where did you get this data? I'm talking about Week 1 2014... week ending Jan 4.

To be down 50% in America it needs less than 7k in US and less than 15k in Europe next week data... looking at the numbers in the last week of 2013 seems like it will be UP.

This trend won't change because last year Vita did terrible.
