I am far more shocked at how well the PS4 is doing in the xbone's homeland. It should have outsold the PS4 2:1 by now.

Xbone is released in all the markets that matter. (except Japan but then again that doesn't really count for the xbone).

You keep waiting for that nice boost.

As usual the 3DS still on top, by a large margin.

Still, every console seemed to have sold well these holidays, so everybody may feel happy. I´m curious to see how the new generation will hold in 2014 Q1.

On paper yes but in reality PS4 have almost not launched in most of these countries. In Sweden the supplies have been extremy low for the PS4 and almost been outsold by the xboxOne(imported versions) It's just PR that it have launched in Sweden and I bet that is the case for alot of other europeanc ountries. We have not had stocks since pre-orders from summer and won't see any until March.The focus for Sony have been USA and the Big 5 in Europe.

Xbone is losing in UK and US... how can that be good? You can remove all the others countries from PS4 sales lol

PS. I can bet with you that PS4 won NPD December in US.


Regardless of if VGC estimates are out or not, when Titanfall drops Sony can kiss goodbye to US the same way Gears Of War did for 360. Then Halo 5 end of the year? US I expect Microsoft to be comfortable come Xmas 2014.

UK is the same. FPS are very popular in UK. And Sony doesnt have UK by any length of a landslide. Titanfall will tilt it back to Microsoft. Yes, PS4 is lacking on killer apps. At least till The Order 1886 hits. Driveclub will bomb hard and meta around 60.

While Titnafall metas around 95.

Hey its my opinion. But I think I'll be right. And 2016 will be hard for many to swallow when Cloud processing really takes off.

Any boost the XOne gets from these EU countries will be more than cancelled out by the PS4 sales in Japan.

The same situation in Brazil, South Africa, Colombia, India...

Thats is why I think "rest of the world" and part of EU are way overtracked. May be Kaz san could give us a better figure tomorow.
