Obviously Sony Land - PC probably 2nd
Fifa pretty big here in the capital as everywhere else in Europe cause Football is the best sport ever.
(J-)RPGs loved by a lot espcially outside of Vienna as far as i have seen.
CoD obviously big but mostly with those few people who own a Xbox and do "Tournaments" aka the same 2 teams always playing against each other and thinking they are ProGamers cause the scene here is a total joke.God i hated the days with those idiots in Xbox Live Parties.Thinkin they are Korean RTS Progamers or Swedisch FPS Pros.
Somehow i know a lot of REAL (good looking) Gamergirls here.But Last Gen it got somehow hard to tell who is a Real Gamer Girl or a "OMG i can turn on my Platform and play CoD im soooo awesome" "Gamer" girl.

I feel there is a massive divide in the gaming culture here.
A majority of the population are what i call "Americanised gamers" who only play Sports games and Call of Duty,
these people are generally pretty aggressive and hard to engage in constructive discussions with about gaming, they also tend to be "fanboys" to their chosen console.

The other lot of population are the kind of people i meet around my University. Have a genuine passion for gaming, and try to play as many gaming experiences as possible. Kind of rare to meet these people, unless you are in the gaming labs :P

I have noticed, in the past few years, a growing confidence about being seen in public playing games, on handhelds, particularly on 3DS. I regularly see adults and teens on public transport and around my city (bristol) playing on their devices. This was a rare sight maybe 4 or 5 years ago.



Current Game Machines: 3DS, Wii U, PC.

Currently Playing: X-Com(PC), Smash Bros(WiiU), Banner Saga(PC), Guild Wars 2(PC), Project X Zone(3DS), Luigis Mansion 2(3DS), DayZ(PC)

PlayStation is synonym with gaming. People call a console simply "la Play". The PS3 outsold the Wii handily. PS3 surpassed Wii in 2009 here** and marketshare is 55% PS3, 30% Wii and 15% Xbox360.*** PC gaming is fairly big.

Still, Wii was a success story with families and Xbox did great in a PS country, despite being outsold 4:1. Many people bought an Xbox because it was way cheaper and becasuse it was much more easily pirated.

Yeah, Spain is a major pirate country, pirating is totally socially accepted, which is very sad. The fact that PS3 was difficult to pirate and that you could be banned from online services helped a lot this gen though, buying original is much more normal now thankfully.

When it comes to handhelds, Nintendo is way ahead, though PSP was incredibly popular and even the Vita is not doing badly.

Gen8, I expect PS4 to outsell Xbone 10:1 to be honest. WiiU won't do much at all here either, Nintendo consoles are not really mainstream (bar Wii).

From a personal standpoint, most of my family has PS3s (me, two cousins, my uncle) and most of my friends too. One of my uncles has a small child and has a Wii to play with her, and a friend of mine has an Xbox 360.

Hmm im from Spain too (hablo castellano y tu? :p) and i think the problem in our Country is that it is full of Jack Sparrows and too many Sony fanboys

PlayStation. PlayStation everywhere. Bar 360 its as if no other system exists. Theres also PC (more accurately Laptops) but too much piracy which makes me sad.



I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime. 

The NX will be a 900p machine

Brazil.

Everything is overpriced here, and people only care about Fifa and CoD, most of the people here grew with the PS1 (Piracy!) and PS2 (Piracy x2!), but nowadays everyone has an Xbox 360 (Again, mostly because of the piracy). And it's really tough to find people that own Nintendo consoles here, because if you mention them, everyone looks at you with a ugly face.
