Short answer: No, because even people into those kinds of games are honestly far more excited about Destiny.

I don't think the reason people don't buy X1s in USA is that it doesn't have Titanfall yet. I believe the machine itself does not suit them in terms of price/specs. Why should Titanfall change that? It will bring sales, yes, but not enough to make the difference described in the OP.
This, I stole from grandpa...It's called soap.
I can't wait to see how this console war finishes its going to be ALOT close then everyone thought
Can't see this happening actually - once the 360 crowd see that UNCHARTED 4 is hitting in '14 on the more powerful and cheaper PS4 alongside inFamous, PlanetSide 2 and superior version of Watchdogs (with PS exclusive content)... The Greatness Awaiting them will be enough for most people to play Titanfall 1 on their 360s / PC and go next gen on PS4 to enjoy - remote play on PS Vita, killer 1080 versions of multiplats and all the best PS3 games they missed once Sony start streaming them!?

Sony's exclusives are more successful franchises enmasse from first and second party and on a level of ratings. Sony in general has more critically acclaimed titles than Microsoft by a much larger margin than you think. Microsoft had more exclusives but most of those were third party and MS paid to keep most of the third parties to keep away from Sony at launch from 2005-2009 period. Bioshock itself took a year to come out which hurt its community on the Playstation. Same thing happened with Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 until EA bought Bioware and went multiplat. Depending on third parties exclusives is Microsofts saving grace. This generation more than the last there will be less third party exclusives between them. Lets see how Microsoft fares then.
Sony has four major developers under their first party that are on IGN's top 50 developers list. Microsoft had one which is completely responsible for the success of the Xbox and they are now exclusive to Activision for ten years.

Sony's learned from their mistakes with PS3 and MS learned from theirs on the 360. Its obvious that they're focusing on the quality exclusive games this go around with all the new IPs coming. While yes both have their respective critically acclaimed franchises/developers, I see MS taking more chances with the X1 while the only new IPs I see for PS4 is The Order and Driveclub
BTW I don't think people are giving Titanfall a legit chance right now. There has to be a reason why its won 75 awards in 2013 including the Future Award at Tokyo Game Show. Literally everyone that has played it for those 15 minutes loves it. Its not like people are just hyped for nothing.
Why are people fooling themselves into thinking Infamous is a big system selling franchise? It's really not even a big name. The first two weren't big system movers and were heavily bundled. Driveclub? Im sure most would much prefer GT6 port to PS4.
Im sure PS4 will still sell more 2014 due to the cheaper price. Also big multiplatform games are hitting this year and I'm sure most would prefer to buy the cheapest combination possible which is also why PS4 will win. Infamous has nothing to do with it.

I like to be fair. I've only seen the E3 footage and it had impressed me a lot. It's probably going to be a great game. I say probably, since the game is not out yet and one can never know...
Would such a game boost a console's sales, and if so, by how much? Those questions are hard to answer and there is a wide margin for error. Personally, I estimate as I previously stated: it will boost sales, but not enough to right all the wrongs that keep X1 from dominating in its once strongest market.

It very well could maybe, ill help that's for sure.
People can cry well its on 360 also.
But any one that has got a taste for new gen will not want to play it on a slow ass inferior console. I love GT6 but id kill for it to be on PS4 just for the speed, load times need to be history!! Jumping between X1 and PS4 to PS3 is a brutal mistress, I cant stand the PS3 nor the 360 after playing with the new toys.
Titanfall not being a X1 exclusive is a massive mistake, it would have a Gears like effect. Being on PC and 360 take greatly away from that.
