...Jesus Christ, is Resident Evil 4 really THAT good!? I really have to try it.

I'm surprised how games such as:

Bioshock Infinite
Uncharted 3
Grand Theft Auto series (especially V)
Halo series
The Last of Us
Half Life 2
Gran Turismo series
Gears of War series

get ranked so low and Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong games are so high! In my opinion this site is clearly Nintendo biased whereas everyone keeps saying it's Sony Biased

Oh yeah, Resident Evil 4 is one of the best games I've had the pleasure to play. It was the final Resident Evil title to be directed by Shinji Mikami (who created the series), and he once again transformed survival horror with this game. Modern action games such as Gears of War, Uncharted, and The Last of Us owe a lot to Resident Evil 4, and even now it's still as amazing to play as it has ever been.

Luckily there's a plethora of ways to play the game, if you have a Wii or Wii U, there's Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition (which is the definitiver version IMO due to Wii pointer controls), and Capcom also released an HD version for 360 and PS3. Either way, you've got an amazing game and hours of scares, tense action, and cheesy lines (It's Resident Evil... it's gotta have some cheese!).

To be honest I was pleasantly surprised at how Xbox centric titles such as Halo and Gears of War did. As we all know the Xbox community here isn't as large as our Nintendo or PlayStation communities.

As for how the titans of each company performed, I think there's an interesting distinction within the Sony fanbase. Unlike Nintendo fans, who for the most part universally love the major Nintendo franchises such as Mario, Metroid, Zelda, and Pokemon, Sony fans (at least from the lists I see) fall into two camps. Western developed fans (with the God of Wars, Uncharteds, and The Last of Us') and Eastern developed fans (with the Final Fantasies and Metal Gear Solids). The tastes of the PlayStation fans aren't as universal as with the Nintendo fans, so that's something to consider as well.

Oh, I don't know. Gears of War 3 feels so incredible underrated in this list :(

It's obvious that there are many WiiU owners on this site since New Super Mario Bros. U got ranked really high (#85) and ZombiU is in a good position (#173)

Agreed, and I've also noticed Japanese titles performing far better than Western titles on this site in terms of these rankings. That couldbe due to the large Japanese userbase we have on this webiste even if some of them live in North America.
