Unlike Nintendo fans, who for the most part universally love the major Nintendo franchises such as Mario, Metroid, Zelda, and Pokemon, Sony fans (at least from the lists I see) fall into two camps. Western developed fans (with the God of Wars, Uncharteds, and The Last of Us') and Eastern developed fans (with the Final Fantasies and Metal Gear Solids). The tastes of the PlayStation fans aren't as universal as with the Nintendo fans, so that's something to consider as well. |
Agreed, and I've also noticed Japanese titles performing far better than Western titles on this site in terms of these rankings. That couldbe due to the large Japanese userbase we have on this webiste even if some of them live in North America.
