Great question. I don't think the number is that interesting, but being up yoy or not is. Just looking at a list 2013 should have crushed 2012 sales but it didn't. If XY, 2DS, AC, LM, and Zelda couldn't do it, I'm worried as Nintendo moves focus to the Wii U. I'll predict around 10 million.

Seeing as the 2DS hasn't released in Japan yet, and we've yet to get Yoshi's New Island and Super Smash Bros. 3DS, I think 3DS stands a chance to do really well this coming year, even with Nintendo focusing on the Wii U. I could see another 15 million happening.
