Bold prediction.

I agree that Nintendo has factors which could win them the generation. But their lack of playing out those factors is their biggest problem at the moment.

I hope they can do it, but i just don't know if they can run with it.

I should note that before E3 2010, I had predicted:

Batman 3DS

Spy Hunter 3DS

Persona 3DS

Dragonball 3DS

YuGiOh 3DS

Golden Sun 3DS

Only both YuGiOh & Golden Sun haven't yet happen, but more has been announced about YuGiOh.

I also currently predict Pokémon 7th Gen with polygon graphics (like Pokédex 3D Pro) and NO open world, and stereoscopic 3D always enable on the 3DS pre-install firmware, and big time stories & plots.

My theories:

Nintendo announcing big battery life increase for 3DS via firmware update, and added features like an option to always have 3D enable and never reduce 3D depth when using motion control (this doesn't affect steering wheel motion control luckily) and to do the 3D effect via 3DS Hardware instead of Software (for options, added via new features via firmware update).

The wiiU is going to be Nintendo's biggest flop (aside from virtual boy). In about 6 weeks the ps4 sold 70% of the wiiu's life time sales. There is absolutely no evdicence supporting the wiiU will do better. The ps4 has sold better every respective week the two have been on the market. My guess is that the 3ds peaked in 2013. Aside from Japan, dedicated handheld consoles will be dead after this generation. No one cares about them anymore. The 3ds will sell half as many as its predecessor. The real race is between ps4 and xbox one, which the ps4 is going to win if Microsoft doesn't change its strategy.

Actually there was a week were the Wii U sold more then PS4 during November, and the week after, the Wii U had better sells in America alone.

You don't know the 3DS 2014 library , let alone features & media, but I do. Plus the price will be cut from $170 to $129.

And the 3DS has sold more in America most weeks then any other video game system' and same goes for Europe. So why is it hard for the PS4 & ONe to beat old age 3DS in sells.
