Forums - Nintendo - Minecraft Not Planned For Wii U

Nice

Around the Network

This is one game I think Nintendo fans would buy. I'm not a fan of the game, but a lot of people do like this game. I only assume that the same people who like this game are the same kinds of people who would like similar style Nintendo games. Games like Animal Crossing for example.

4J needs to work on Rare ports again..

Kind of a shame. If there was one console that I think would have really pulled off Minecraft, it would have been the Wii U.

But again, it's ultimately about business. Not some conspiracy against Nintendo. There's no point in spending resources on something that won't pay off.

Who knows, maybe Nintendo could make a case that the console fits Minecraft's demographic together and can enter into some kind of deal where Nintendo finances and helps the project.

The Gamepad's dual screen for the menu, and using the Wii mote to point and click would work a lot better than dual analog sticks IMO.

It's on the VITA.

Besides, he is not ruling a Wii U version.

Because they have an agenda. The team consists of Sony and Microsoft fanboys. Maybe you've seen the  thread where one wise member of our forum proved that the Wii U ports are actually profitable by giving guidelines about revenues and profits of the ports.  If it isn't about an agenda, then what is it? All the money is there and they just don't take it.

If he doesn't want my money, I guess that is his business.

Hahahahahaha.  Yeah because he would make MORE money by putting it on the Wii U instead of the PS4 or even Vita...   You do know games aren't made by the snapping of fingers right?

Nintendo consoles are made for kids according to you guys, right? kids love Minecraft, so i'm sure a WiiU version would outsell a Vita version because that handheld's fanbase is mostly made up of dedicated hardcore gamers.

Hehe yeah because Minecraft has no hardcore appeal right?  You do know that is how that game became famous through word of mouth right?

Maybe Nintendo doesn't want it?

It probably takes less resources to do it on the Vita than a console.
