I read an article the other day that it's becoming a trend to bash Nintendo....

You're probably confused but Nintendo normally release 1 game in each genra every generation, I mean let compare the racing genre, 1 mario kart was released compared to how many Need for Speed? how many Gran Turimo last generation.

Compare Super Smash Bros, to how many Street Fighters?
Compare Mario Golf to how many EA golf games? Compare Mario Striker to how many EA Fifa games.
