Forums - PC - Good laptop online dealers in Norway ?

I know some of you are norwegian, but I forgot your nicknames, so I summon all the fellow norwegians through a front page thread.

Using vgchartz like a whore, sorry.

Anyway: I'm inclined to bite the dust on a gaming laptop, and I am inclined the MSI GX60 with a AMD8970M graphics card, and the shitty AMD cpu but I guess I have no way around it. I don't want Nvidia chips because they suck balls at mining cryptocoins. And mining is the primary purpose.

This is the laptop in xoticpc in US.

Any suggestions on a better bang-for-the-buck laptop are appreciatted also as long as it remains in the same price ballpark of 1220 doolars.

And merry xmas everyone.

You serious? You'll never recover the cost or anything like it.

That's a broad assumption. How much will protoshares be worth next year ? What about nxt ?

I'm late for the bitcoin race, litecoin is gonna be big boys game in 6 months. All the other minor currencies are still minable with humble household hardware. And one interesting bit: I don't pay for electricity.

Also since Xbone, PS4 and Wii U all have amd gpus and cpus (almost) I think amd is gonna perform better.

Also mantle should be compatible with this card ?? Don't know if it meets the minimum criteria.

It's a massive, massive bubble. Especially anything that's not bitcoin, although bitcoin is certainly subject to this.

No one is buying stuff with litecoin or nxt. Things with no grounding don't stay valuable for long.

Yes, they're still "minable". In other words, their entire appeal is that the ordinary person can get rich quick. Once that is gone it will crash. If you're late to bitcoin, you're late to ANY kind of gain. What kind of historical moneymaking scheme still made money for participants after the whole world knew about it and the barrier to entry was as low as a recent AMD PC?

I think you won't make back even $50 of value in total.

Ask Mummelmann

Komplett.no are great, I've bought all my PC goods there and even my TV and stereo. netonnet are pretty good and sometimes have some amazing deals, this time of year should see quite a few of them. Steer clear of mpx.no and datakjeden; they offer many of the same goods as Komplett and netonnet but are hopeless on price and delivery.

Otherwise, you have lefdal or elkjøp or siba, easy access but not quite as cheap.

I would recommend Komplett, I've spent over 50.000 NOK in their store and never once been disappointed. They also have "deal of the week" and even "deal of the day" and sometimes "deal of the hour", bought my 27" monitor at such a promotion, saved 50%.

Think Komplett.no is your best choice

I didn't explain myself as I should.

I agree that any coin that is bot bitcoin or litecoin, are trash coins. But still people are willing to trade trashcoins for btc.

The way I face mining is: mine whatever low difficulty scrypt based currencies there is. Sell them for bitcoins or litecoins at the height of the bubble.

@ norwegians

I found that Elkjop also has a website. Do you guys have any experience with that ?

I'm gonna check out komplett now. takk =)
