Ok, so it's doubtful we will see another Wii U hardware price drop for a long time as the console is already costing Nintendo a lot of money to make because of the gamepad and because they had to make unique hardware that fits into that tiny little box. That being said, if Nintendo decided to reduce the cost of all current and all future first party games (I doubt the 3rd parties would be on board with this) to $40 starting retail price, would that convince you to buy a Wii U? 

For me, even if I wasn't the Nintendo fanboy that I am, if a company was coming out with games that were just as good innovation/creativity wise as the other two companies and $20 less per game I would seriously be all over that console!

Interesting idea but I think lowering the cost on the games would get more attention from the media, gamers, and ESPECIALLY the casual crowd. Price cuts on consoles are common, but price standard reductions on games are a totally different story. That would be huge!

It makes it look like their games don't have as much content, usually games not priced at $60 have less content or are not up to snuff to the competition,ie Walking Dead Survival Instinct, not a good move imo.

They should definitely lower the price but at $30 because these games happen to be less valued than gamecube games.

Lower the cost of the only games guaranteed to sell? I don't know.....
