“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Das leben der anderen

L'appartement

Headhunters

Enjoy!!

Can remember a few, here's my top 5

-The Cube Series - Easily one of the best psychological horror series of all time that almost no-one has seen. Technically not one movie, but since the series has been seen by less people than the entire population of the Vatican, it needs a nod .

- Fern Gully - Best. Animation. Movie. Ever. It has Tim Curry singing, what more do you want?

- Metropolis - More people need to see this movie without knowing in what year it was made. It's a technological marvel for the era and it was decades before it was matched, both in technical and story quality.

- Melancholia - This movie. Man this movie. I don't even have enough words to describe how much it moved me (didn't help that I watched it for the first time in one of the most depressing moments of my life)

- Sweet November - Same as Melancholia.

YES! What a great movie.

I don't think there was another dogma movie that even came close to it

Oh yes, very good too.  I love Lars von Trier, one of his movies is in my top five
