There's no need to rush and declare a winner. By the way, selling more units is one way to calculate a win. I think that the only ones that know who won last gen and the ones that will know who won this gen is the accountants of the big three. People should know that selling too much of a non profitable product is more damageable to a company than selling it moderatly and nobody knows how much R&D $$$ were spent for this gen or last gen for instance. We don't know, but maybe one of the big three is thinking, if this gen is not more profitable it is over.

Cos we have only just got into this gen. Wii U shouldn't be written off so quickly.

Anyway, why do we care so much about who the winner is? This generation will last until 2020 at least

All this "who wins?" talk is for babies. In the real world, all three are fine if they profit, and, the only one making a profit so far is Nintendo, but Sony do not have the Windows cash cow, so, Sony is dying from the losses and MS is taking the Xbox hits with the profits from other branches.

How retarded it is to call any of those two the "winner of the generation".
