This is the sort of flame bait thread that should be deleted before it even receives any posts...

We haven't accepted Wii U as having lost because it hasn't yet and we don't want it to. Wii U certainly isn't doing well, but PS4 isn't doing as great as people on this site seem to think it does.

Are stores clogged with people asking for the PS4 every morning? The Wii was, same with the PS2 for as long as a year after the console was released. This tells me that the PS4 actually isn't that enticing of a console.   Sure it's selling out, but that doesn't mean much.  

In popularity poles among the casual players, XBox One usually wins out.  I asked my mother, and she was convinced the XBox One was the console to have.  Same with several other sources I've seen.

I don't see it doing the 100 mill that people seem to think it will, and I think it's left itself open to be overturned.

Why can't Toastboy accept the fact that we understood his seven other threads which said the exact same thing?

I'm talking about less to do with "Nintendo got lucky" and more to do with how the things early on did not set the course for the rest of the generation.

I think the last time I saw a poll here about who won last gen, almost 40% if the voters were delusional enough to vote a console not called the Nintendo Wii. So good luck finding a rational winner.

I think you may have hit the nail on the head. 

According to everyone there can only be one winner.

There really was no winner last gen though.

I think the XBox one sits right in the middle between core and more mainstream audiences. It has the potential to do really well in the long run. The Wii U is just, I don't even know anymore. PS4 has started great but it needs to attract the mainstream to completely beat out X1
