Curious to see how other people found this site

For me I was simply searching for a site that gave info on sales of games and consoles, somehow or other I ended up here, and browsed the forums. 

Ireelevant of how I got here, it was the forums that kept me here, and to this day I come here daily, but only to visit the forums. I remember when they overhauled the site and the forums changed with it, and I didnt like it. Before everything was where I wanted it and easy to find, afterwards not so much and for a long time I didnt come here. Probably 1-2 years, but they fixed it and now again its a good site.

The main reason I come here is for the community, one of the best places (probably the best) forums I can go to for anything game related, and sometimes not! (even though one of my threads didnt get a reply! I was counting on you guys!)

I was looking for porn, and Badgenome's user profile popped up in Google's searchs.

Maybe I should refer more of my own friends :/

Its sort of s stigma though, my friends love gaming, but I dont want to admit I love it that much that I daily visit a forum to discuss it, so dont know a pragmatic wayh to bring them into it!

        A lot of people visit forums regarding different  things so I don't see a problem with visiting Vgchartz  because you  enjoy gaming.

Im pretty sure I have OCD, when I get into something it takes over my life. A most recent example... 

I got Persona 4 Golden on Vita, PURELY because I wanted a new Vita game and looked up Metacritic and it was the highest rated game on there. Before this, I never heard of Persona in any form, not a clue what 'Persona' was.

But I loved it, I couldnt stop, I played it anytime I wasnt at work, asleep, or eating, I brought the BluRay series, I brought the posters, I brought the Music Album, I spent time in the forums, I dreamt about it when I went to sleep. When I get into something, it takes over my whole mind and thought, and I cant escape it.

But beyond all that, im always self conscious of it

Same thing for me. Don't know what year it was though.

         This happened with me back in 2010 with Monster Hunter believe it or not..... I had no idea what Monster Hunter was until I searched up it on Youtube because  I heard some people talk about it on different forums. I loved what I saw and I had to buy the game.. I bought it and played the heck out of it...

i was going to say the same thing but say NikkoM instead of badgenome. but thanks, now you ruined my story, just like you ruin everything in my life. EVERYTHING!

Not everything. You're still the best U2 online player. But not for long.
