yes they have been doing new year pre orders since the ps4 was released in na. for the "new years" edition im pretty sure. unless thats a completley difference thing..

I think thats the estimated next shipment date and if you continued the order and bought one then amazon would make a backorder log and ship on a first come first serve basis
