Edit: 5 Minutes Later amazon has more ps4!

If the PS4 was a movie, it would be Gone Baby Gone.

Xbox One is back, at 600.

And that's it folks. The PS4 has sold out. The Xbox is just under 180. If people really don't think the demand for the PS4 is higher, even here in the states, they are just fooling themselves.

The demand is in a entry different level... Jan/Feb will be fun days for PS fans

And yes the chances to PS4 take the NPD December exists too... who is expecting Xbone to won NPD Dev can be disapointed at the end.

Oh, I definitely think Sony has a good shot to win Dec NPD, too.  Wal-Mart said they had gotten their largest shipment, even larger than launch.  I would imagine Sony got shipments to other retailers, too.  Maybe not larger than launch, but close to the same numbers.  And Amazon must have just gotten a very large shipment for them to have stayed in stock for so long, yet the last 1000 for each bundle sold out very quickly.  Even if MS somehow manages to win Dec, it will only be by a few thousand.

Amazon was the biggest shipment, the Walmart shipment was all $517 bundles so that's profit. but Gamestop has only been selling refurbished consoles so that might hurt sales.

As depicted on NeoGAF..

the sale rate of PS4 and XBOX One.

I was checking the stock in Amazon when the Xbone get available again... the shipment was like 500 units and take ~3 hours to get Sold Out.

At the same time Sony have ~1500 units (after 12 hours of sales) and take ~2.5 hours to get Sold Out.

Seems like MS is sending low shipments and these units take some hours to get Sold Out giving the impression that MS is selling way better than PS4.... while that Sony give shipments like 12k units that get Sold Out in less than 30 minutes.

Sony demand is crazy right now... there are moments that PS4 sold 100 units in 5 minutes and Xbox none.

I'm getting confident Sony will delievy to win NPD December... if that happen I guess MS will never win a NPD again in normal conditions (without a big exclusive or pricecut).

Careful, i expect X1 to beat the ps4 in NA in december. Sony definitly sold at a fast rate but im not sure if the supply eould be enough

I said there are chances... so some guys can be surprised here.

To be fair if Sony do really supply US I'm sure they could sell a lot more than what they sold right now.

Yeah, it seems like Sony is making a hard push for NA for the rest of the month. If they can ship enough systems I think they have a chance.

But I am still surpise that no 3 millions PS4 sold worldwide announced yet. I would guess it's there already....

the first announcement came with the US launch.  the second came with the europe launch.  if they are going to make a statement i'll bet its either sales in 2013 (end of year) or with the japan launch.   if not those than probably not until financial releases.

i think we will get the announcement with the financial results or if we are very lucky after the holiday season during CES.. if they announce something playstation related they might announce some numbers then..

Can it really be that PS4 demand was low, but supply was incredibly limited???

Though ps4 is sold out(amazon) for more than 26 hours it is still number 1 in the charts.

Strange that you don't feel the need to open this time a thread or comment about it?!(well,i'm not surprised!)
