Forums - PC Discussion - Steam Holiday Sale is OVER - What did YOU get?

I somehow managed to sell my 5 remaining Snow Globes in around half an hour (less for some cards)!

I sold mine very quickly (when Steam worked, ofc), but I sold them for cheap as my intention was to get rid of them, not to make money.

And, answering your other question, I must admit that I'm quite happy with myself. I got few games that I know for sure I'll play:

  • Game Dev Tycoon
  • Sega Genesis Classics Pack 1
  • Borderlands 2 Game of the Year
  • Age of Empires II HD + The Forgotten Expansion

And also Cities XL Platinum for my secret santa.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

I just joined Steam yesterday. This service is awesome! I can't believe what I was missing. I only bought AoE2HD, but it was cheap and I love it. I should have picked up FF7&8 too...

Not much really.

Deux Ex: Director's Cut
Trine 2
VVVVVV

The times when I could buy like 10 games at a time are pretty much over.

Edit: btw I bought those games with money I made from selling Dota 2 items

Welcome to the club

Thanks!  It's one of many things that's making me think it's time to upgrade my PC.  My existing one is good, but a little long in the tooth.  Steam is like a gaming buffet and a very affordable price!

Got Gone Home, because i just had to know what people were talking about. Then i find out in runs like crap on my PC. Also got World of Goo for the absurd price of €0.70

I thought I had spent more this sale than I really did.

Got the Thief Bundle, Age of Empires 3, 3D Mark, Men of War Vietnam and Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and got gifted the Stanley parable from my Secret Santa.

Only one other game that I really wanted that I didn't get was Anno 2070, I loved the crap out of 1404, but trying to hold back on the purchasing of games until I can be bothered buying and installing a new Hard Drive as my current Steam drive is bursting at the seams.

Anyway, Next stop is the Spring/Autumn Sale in about 2-5 months! :P
