LOL total BS.
I got the Vita because it was on sale for $199 a whole $50 cheaper than a 3DS.

and you can now get that mem card + 10 games for 30euros. Time to shove that in the face of 3ds owners how vita owners buy more games for their systems, ya know.... games that come free with a memory card.

Week on week I guess. Some maths using UK numbers... Week before PS4 launch: 4,340 That's mens at least 10k undertracked in UK in the last two weeks. |
How can you know it was not overtracked in the week before PS4 launch.. Maybe it was only 1500 in the week before PS4 launch then went to 2.5k and then 4.2k ..??
So it was under tracked or over tracked cannot be determined by %age only..
Well the display in my local GAME has a PS4 demo unit, with the Vita rack between the demo unit and the PS4 software all in proper Sony branded display units. Looked pretty good I have to say.
Getting Vita Tearaway bundle with LBP 16gb mem card and LEGO Marvel Heroes for £169.99 in a prominent part of the display must be helping too.
I wonder how much of it is parents going to get PS4, seeing only stock is £550 bundles with a load of tat and getting Vita to tide their kids over.
Yeah, let's forget about the holiday boost... But I see I'm not the first one to say that here. Still, any sales jump is good I suppose... To keep it positive.

i think you are pretty right.. and i believe it might just give a bit of life to it if few titles manage to show that VITA games can make some decent money. Although some indies are already pretty happy with the sales on VITA and if it manages to get some interesting, unique, killer game it might just give it a new life.. but even without it the move by sony of remote play is going to keep it quite relevant and many people are going to pick it up if it get some deals or rebates
Hopefully, this is only the beginning. Vita really deserves success
Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030
Do they think they are kidding anyone? Are we supposed to think that it's because of the PS4 and that it has nothing to do with a little thing called ''christmas shopping''?
Still terrible numbers, terrible for a handheld, terrible in genera, terrible with the fact that the PS4 (their so called hope for the vita'' came out and terrible considering the holydays. Sony really needs to stop masking the truth, same with Nintendo and their WiiU.

I just got a Vita yesterday. Sold my 3ds today and all the games with it.
