considering ps4 out sold xbox one while ps4 is having supply issues in the first 2 weeks of decenmber idk were ur going with this and how xbox is beating ps4....

Huh VGC only has data posted through December 7th.

i ment to say the first 2 weeks of them both being released and both on the market. without opening day stats counting in the week.

Without opening day stats? Are you subtracting out both the NA and Europe opening day stats for PS4 and the global opening day stats for X1?

Fact of the matter using November as a judge is difficult to judge anything particularly when we are talking just NPD/USA.  PS4 had 2 weeks in November vs X1 having just one and X1 also going global immediatly (although in less then half the countries).

It really is going to come down to supply for December.  Some of us believe that MS has the upperhand because they have very good demand and seem to have a good supply chain going into the most important sales weekend of the year.  While Sony is spread thin trying to serve 31 markets.  Others believe that Sony is shipping just as many units to NA, they just sell out immediatly.  We will see in a few weeks.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

I think PS4 will outsell it in the US by a small margin, but that won't start until spring when it's more available.

Although there's more interest in the PS4 right now, the fact that they can't keep them on shelves does not necessarily mean it'll be ahead for December. That logic doesn't work. Sure they sell out quick, but if Sony only puts 500k on the shelves in December and Microsoft puts say 750k, even if Sony sells out Microsoft has more units available for purchase for those people in stores looking for a PS4 but not finding one, and that could be the deciding factor. PS4 will outsell Xbox One in just about every other market, but to keep allocations flowing worldwide Sony might be sacrificing December NPD. Like any logical person has said though, this holiday season is not going to be reflective of any overall trends simply because of the supply constraints.

It's all about the game.

one thing is for sure,..

...i'm dying to see another weeks worth of data.

Because aside from the week head start....X1 is outselling PS4 every week in NA since.

what about the first week of december and the last week of november my eyes might not be perfect but ps4 out sold with supply problems in the first 2 weeks of them both being out.

look at global hardwear by plat forum 07th dec , 30th november ps4 won in both ur saying na out sold them only theres still a whole ton more countries in the world if you diddent know.. just cause they out sell in na dont mean there gona smash the ps4 in sales..

but thats on vg chartz who in the right mind on these forums uses vg chart statistics..

If you didn't notice, NPD is US. That is what this thread is about.

You can also look at it like: there are so many X1's still on shelves and not selling. Demand is not so strong.

You know the best selling eletronic products this hollydays are iPads and iPhones, don´t you?

Do you think there is any shortage of those?

Empty shelves are not good. It was proved during this Black Friday.

Cute.

My point is you can interpret it anyway you want... since you didnt seem to get it.

Why do you think they're on the shelves?

Look at US sales since November 23rd. You seriously believe they aren't selling?

I didn't say they aren't selling, I'm saying do you really think they can win if there is stock on shelves. They need to be sold out constantly if they want to beat ps4.

Well, there's only a week to go, we'll see what happens soon.

Actually, you did.

WiiU is easier to find than XB1. By your logic I should expect it to outsell the XB1.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Sony is too worried about releasing allover the place including bum fuck egypt to keep anything worth a shit of supply in NA. It could be anything depending on supply, which everyday is another country release for ps4.

I think the people in Egypt will appreciate Sony making the PS4 available this year in their country

Except for the fact that one is in it's launch window and the other is a year old.
