I'm impressed

Very nice for Wii U. I hope it can gain some solid traction from here out it's definitely the best of the 8th gen systems at the moment for software and looks like it'll hold that crown at least for the next year.

Vita up again despite no single game selling over 10k individually o_O shame it didn't get more of a bump, but Digimon announcement means sales will go up 100000x next week (not srs! just so you know).

Digital must be getting bigger for Vita. That or the new owners also think no gaemz so just have a console :D

Wii U is doing quite well, all things considered. Really didn't expect that after all of the sub-5k weeks. If only Nintendo had some software ready for next year to keep the momentum going...

Should we put those words in the same part where we put your prediction about PS3 being flat YOY?

I notice that almost everyone is down in comparison with Last Year and Last YTD. Handheld and home consoles are dying in Japan?

Flat? I said PS3 will be near flat in Japan... not flat... that's means less than 10% down yoy and no way the crazy 30% like some guys thinks here.

And if you check the numbers....

2012: 1,122,851
2013: 794,696

More three weeks of data do sum in 2013... 1,122k - 10% = ~1,000k... 200k in three weeks is hard to happen but it will be close.

Two things I just noticed:

Attack on Titan having decent second week drop. Thought bad word of mouth would've killed it; looks like it isn't as bad as people were making out.

Dragon Quest is gone. Like literally, out of the top 30 for both versions. Wth!

WiiU has Launching #s from last year, i think its its 2nd week of sales your comparing. 3DS had AC so that explains the big numbers from last year

Man, with Wii Party U included, the sales of the game coild be next week over 100k. And I bet, they will.
