It will happen, but not nearly as soon as most think. Not saying Wii U is going to pick up, because it won't, but PS4 is going to drop like a rock, to levels almost as bad as Wii U come January, when the hype has died down and the holidays are over. PS4 cannot keep selling on hype and the novelty of the new technology forever. Eventually, Sony is going to need the games to back it up, and I just don't seem them yet.

Lol. Ps4 is going to launch in Japan in Feb and yet somehow its going to drop to Wii U levels? Lol, you better hope it doesnt because thats worse news for nintendo than sony

It wont drop below ps3's first Jan-Nov which was higher than Wii Us

Ah. Right around when Infamous, Diveclub, MLB, and Watch_Dogs are launching.

It will continue selling well until until late spring/early summer, and get a nice bump from Destiny at the end of summer. 

 

Anyone saying it will never outsell the Wii U is beyond naive.

By the end of 2014 for sure.

It will only need about 40K more on average a week to do it.
