This was one of the reasons I've been wanting a 3DS. At least there is still Fire Emblem.

I never played 4 Heroes of Light. How similar is Bravely Default to it? I looked at a trailer for 4 Heroes and the 4 main characters look awfully a lot like the 4 main characters of Bravely Default.

I'm about 55 hours in in Bravely Default on hard and at level 60, and I'm only on chapter 3. I think the biggest default with Bravely Default so far is that you have to constantly grind (for hours and hours). The game isn't hard. It just is impossible if you don't grind to increase your levels.

I might turn down the difficulty before I end up losing interest.

the SP micro transactions sound really crappy.

It's like candy crush in a payed game. I normally am a SE defender... but that mechanic is just crappy.

I'm a huge fan of Stein's Gate, but from what I've heard about the plot is dissapointing. Hopefully, I'll have a different opinion after I eventually play it.

I agree with this review. I wasn't as impressed as the hype led me to believe.

Well, I didn't very much care for the demo, and after reading this review I'm definitely skipping the game. Thanks Rol! Great review as always.
