Hey guys, I'm from france. About the situation here, I think Sony really didn't ship enough PS4 (even though there's more PS4 than XONE for sure). In fact, every console seems overtracked. Mostly the XONE since the ratio looks to be ~2:1 as mentionned above in previous posts.

Last year, Nintendo shipped 240K units in France from launch to December 31st but they sold ~118k of those. I'm sure Sony won't ship as much as that number in 2013 here, and that's sad because they could sell that amount I think...

By the way Wii U is also overtracked (191.5k as of Nov 2nd here, official statement from Nintendo France saying 175k the same day. more info in my other post: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=5855624)

Winter and Spring will be interesting in Europe when the whole stock issue should no longer exist.

I guess if you use the Overtracked word in the title then yes.

I live in a small town in germany, about 40k inhabitants and today was the first day I saw a ps4 in the wild :D. actually 2 ps4 consoles, but they werent on the shelves , a guy had both under his arms ^^ so sony def didn't ship engough units. but I think it's the same with xbox ones. they had about 10-15 units last week which were all gone today.

Big Brother is watching.

Just image what the numbers would look like (not just in France or the UK but WW) if Sony and MS had shipped for demand.  Eeesh

It looks like Xbox One is holding to about the same ratio as 360 in Europe. 3:1 in Spain and 2:1 in France is probably about the same as PS3:360.

That's pretty surprising given the sky high XBO price.

not really look at the ps3 and 360 ps3's are outselling 360's 4-almost 5:1. Since it's launch whatever stock comes goes very quickly. In the long run I expect ps4 to outsell xb1 by atleast 3:1 in france and most of europe. 2:1 in the uk and 1-1.5:1 in the u.s.
