I like certain things about the Xbox, but I don't think I will hardly ever use most of these. Saying Xbox next song and xbox volume up and stuff like that is harder than using a remote...not too mention, if you want more than 1 track off or 1 notch of volume, what you just stand there and say it over and over again?  instead of just clicking a button...The switching between TV and games and netflix and all that is cool, but tons of them scream gimmick to me.

I have a friend who is extremely casual and has a PS3 who asking me about the new systems. When I told him about the voice commands and the game swapping and TV and all of that on the One he was pretty impressed. I would send him this video but I know it's too long for him to sit through. Anyone know of a good sub-5 minute video that does what this one does?

So finally IGN have set up the One properly. Once set up correctly Kinect works beautifully. Volume etc are all a real bonus. Its so easy to be playing and change the volume without pausing, stopping etc. It just feels natural.
