So luckily for us, ebay has the "Price trending at" feature that tracks prices for items over a 2 week period.

PS4: $585.78
XB1: $620.34

Clearly demand for the PS4 is higher than the XB1.

I saw several users on this forum thinking PS4s were selling at a large profit. I presumed they were selling at some profit.

But looking through the internet, I found there are plenty of PS4s are struggling to sell at any profit.

I already know X1 demand isn't high, I've seen plenty of discussions about how they aren't selling out.

Nope. It doesn't apply. I offered an answer to your question and you chose to ignore. There is a substitue for the PS4 that's readily available. Xbone.

In real life people aren't fanboys and they'd consider paying more for a similar console that comes with a camer too. Who would pay 500 dollars for PS4 then? A few.

There's amazing demand for the next gen consoles and the cheapest out of the two is selling more. That advantage is gone.

If anything, I find it really amazing that some people are actually choosing to ignore the Xbone and the kinect all together and read to pay just as much to get a PS4. Now that's amazing demand

First of all, I never claimed X1 demand was higher.

 

Does that mean people are paying $620 for PS4, or is that the price people are trying to sell them for?

Because I'm seeing plenty of PS4's selling for under $450 - $500.

And Mr Puggsly ignored both you and me. Its a shame. Ive made over 300 in profit on 2 ps4s. I sold them exceptionally fast too because i get them at 15% less than everyone else so i can undercut the lowest price
