This will be tough I think.

When I was in kindergarden, late 80s - early 90s, I spent a lot of time at my friend's house. We used to play this Ninja sidescroller game. All I remember is that in one of the levels, you were outside and could jump on branches, etc in the trees. The graphics/colors were very bright, if I remember correctly.

Now here is the tricky part. His mom was a lot in Japan and other places in the world, and the console might have been a Japanese NES (Famicon), but I am not sure.

If anyone know this game, I would appreciate your reply.

try this?

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, this is not it. I remember the graphics, or main character not being so.... "kiddy"-looking. If you have any other ideas, I would be glad to hear it.

Happy to try and help but I'm not sure of too many other bright ninja games on the NES, there was a Goemon mystical ninja game, but that was more top down like Zelda, then you obviously have Ninja Gaiden but that is not that bright and colourful but does allow you to hop along trees and be a more adult looking Ninja. If not for you saying it was bright and colourful I would say 100% it was that heh.

I have a couple of games.

There was this ps1 jrpg it was in Japanese so i didn't beat the game but i played the beginning. In the beginning i think you fought this boss in an airport. The boss was a dude that can summon a giant bird as an attack. Once you beat the boss i think thats where the game starts you'll be place in this town and in the sewers there's this green blogs you can attack. The main character is a girl/guy with long silver or grey hair and you start out with no weapons or armour.

There was also this ps2 game Its hard to explain, but its like a galactic golf game where your ball is a frog. The goal of this game is to make the frog go through this crazy course where you'll gain points. The game is also the first game i knew that has quick time events like rounding you left analog stick quickly to get out of a giant carnivorous plant. The game also has in game trophies.

There's also another ps2 game. It was like Gran Turismo only differences is that it was base on objectives like driving through this course at this amount of time or win this race. The game is base on stages each stage has you complete a objective before moving on the the next stage. The game will rewards you a ribbon with a bird logo on it for beating a stage.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

The Legend of Kage?

the way the character keeps spinning their "sword?" around the place as an attack, it's almost hypnotic, who designed that attack? less Ninja and more knife wielding parkinsons sufferer.

I've literally never heard of any of the games you've explained, they all sound amazing tho. but that frog one was rather simple to find based on their not being a whole lot of frog based golf crossovers :D

I have no idea. Have you seen the seizure-inducing Ninjutsu attack?

ps2 has a load of those kinda niche great games, you ever play mr mosquito? you play a mosquito trying to distract a family so you can drink a little blood, it's really awesome since the family are gigantic and you're a tiny lil fly.

Or Katamari Demaci another brilliant quirky ps2 game (which was later ported to everything with a screen)

Glad I could help btw :)
