This will be tough I think.

When I was in kindergarden, late 80s - early 90s, I spent a lot of time at my friend's house. We used to play this Ninja sidescroller game. All I remember is that in one of the levels, you were outside and could jump on branches, etc in the trees. The graphics/colors were very bright, if I remember correctly.

Now here is the tricky part. His mom was a lot in Japan and other places in the world, and the console might have been a Japanese NES (Famicon), but I am not sure.

If anyone know this game, I would appreciate your reply.

try this?

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, this is not it. I remember the graphics, or main character not being so.... "kiddy"-looking. If you have any other ideas, I would be glad to hear it.

The Legend of Kage?

the way the character keeps spinning their "sword?" around the place as an attack, it's almost hypnotic, who designed that attack? less Ninja and more knife wielding parkinsons sufferer.
