At first i too didn`t understand why since a long time the Nintendo version of a CoD game is announced waaaay after the PS3/XB360 version. I just didn`t get it. If there`s a port why not just announce it?

Then i heard a comment from Marcus Beer (spelling?) during E3 and kinda made sense.
He was talking abou the software shown at E3 at MS and Sony`s conferences and mentioned how some games from certain companies only appeared at one of the conferences, despite being announced for PS4 and XB1.

The reason: deals.

That`s the only explanation i have for a CoD game not being talked about until release is imminent.

I really dont understand the advertising argument.
every time I see a trailer for a third party game, it ends with either an xbox logo or sony/playstation logo, I have never seen a third party multiplatform game end with a nintendo or wii logo.

Activision dont randomly pick a logo to put at the end, the logo is there because that company has partly paid for the advert. If nintendo doesnt want to, thats their problem.

Just Dance ads have a Wii logo at the end. Well at least in my country.
Maybe Skylanders as well but I can't quite remember.

So does the recent Scribblenauts, though that may or may not be Wii U/3DS exclusive. Not sure.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

There goes the whole user base argument we been reading about for the last year every time a third party game failed on the wii U.

Replaced by the argument of third-party self-sabotage, for which the evidence is indisputable.

Unfortunately people who buy Nintendo consoles nowadays only get 1st party titles. You can also see that happening on the 3DS, but thanks to the much bigger userbase, things aren't as bad there as they are on Wii U. I sincerely don't see what Nintendo could do to change this situation, 3rd party exclusives still sell well on Nintendo consoles, but for multiplatform games, I think it's a lost cause.

I don't even have to read this thread to tell what the responses are.

Sony and Xbox fans with the correct answer. Nintendo fans don't buy third party, and Nintendo fans with their whole we don't support developers who don't support us, blah blah blah, blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah.

They were also on Steam.

Stupid Activision why don't make a psv version instead of wii u version

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

by the looks of it. it probably accounts for less than 1% of costs too.

Ohh, Zero, since you're here. Weren't you saying that there is no chance of Ghosts selling less than Blops 2, because the userbase will be bigger, when some people, me included told you it may happen since Blops 2 numbers were inflated cause it was a launch title? How's that gone? Were you wrong all along? Again?

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!
