Forums - Nintendo - Which starting Pokemon do you choose from the three elements?

Fire, definitely. Chimchar and that fire chicken from the GBA games are just awesome, while the other two starters never really impressed me much.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

i started with water

I tend to use Water-type or Grass-type.

I've always played Pokemon togheter with one of my family members, so we have always had 2 boxes and gameboys. We always liked the starting Pokemon best, so we traded over and made sure both of us (or more) had all starters.

If I had to chose, I'd chose fire every time (go Charmander!!!)

Wii Fit is rapidly beating PS3...

Playing now: Apollo Justice, Majora's Mask

Going to play: Little King Story

"As long as there is a Triforce, there will be a Zelda  As long as there is a prosperous kingdom, there will be an evil that wants destroy it And as long as there is an oppressive force running Hyrule, there will be a boy, in a green tunic, with a silver shield, and a magic blade, to stand against them."-The Legend of Zelda

Grass/Water (Red Version)
Pikachu (Yellow version)

By me:

Made with Blender + LuxRender
"Since you can´t understand ... there is no point to taking you seriously."

For the first playthrough

Whichever one is the cutest.

Which for me was.

Charmander,
Totodile,
Torchick
Piplup.

So i seem to antipode it between fire and Water.

Grass

@ Soriku - ah, that's the one! I ended up using Blaziken through the entire game, and ended up with a pretty impressive party by the end. Gardevoir, Crobat, a Skarmory I found while walking randomly (that was a very lucky day)... ah, those were the days.
