Wow, I had no idea it was such a huge gaming market. Plus, it's growing much of it's own fuel, Brazil has many things going for it.

Thanks for the update! Keep 'em coming.

Any chance we could get some volume numbers next time?

With the way their economy is growing, and a growing middle class, people are being able to afford consoles more often. I guarantee you that in 10 years we'll have had some pretty major Brazilian games come out.

Really awesome to see a brand new market appear that isn't just us, the Yanks, and Japan!

Is Brasil anywhere near Brazil?

Brasil is the correct... Brazil is what Americans uses because fits better the sound of the word "Brasil".

We live on Brasil... not Brazil (this word didn't exits in Portuguese).

Well expected racking just a little surprise that GTA V sold more than FIFA on 360... don't get me wrong GTA V is huge but FIFA here is eve bigger.

And yeap... people needs to face Brasil is a bigger market for videogames... TOP5 in the world.

I guess you don`t have access to the top 10 across all consoles?

so many football(soccer) games!

wii:8 out of 10 are 1st party and i guess the ninty charts look almost exactly like they did in october 2012 and october 2011
Seems even in brasil nintendo educated their people this way.(incl. no soccer games)

There isn't total sales numbers, only the general rank? Looks like GoW: Ascension is being a hit here, it's always on the charts.

It's understandable. Brazil in Portuguese is "Brasil", so it's sometimes hard to avoid the typing memory and just put a "z" in English.

Handhelds are pretty weak here. It's a rising market, so people are spending money on the main market (home consoles). Besides that, handhelds are expensive as hell compared to their home counterparts and dominated by piracy.

I was yay for beyond, but then I saw this is october :L

The price thing is a surprise. The piracy, not so much! Seems like the handhelds are more exposed to piracy.
