Meh. Any major console could have done that had stock been there on day one.
What would be nice is to see it break sales records while still having stock on shelves, proving it really hit its limit. But that's not good for the manufacturer trying to not waste production resources.

Price was the only thing that held them back last gen and it has been hurting the Vita as well.

I highly doubt X1 and Wii U owners are envious for Knack and Killzone. Maybe that statement will have validity in the future.

Well lets be honest, if there was an unlimited supply the demand for PS4 would still be greater than X1.
Part of the reason for that is MS not being more competitive with price.
