oh and hey.. I heard over in England they sometimes refer to cigarettes as fags. So I'm guessing if a Sony fanboy were wandering around England and for whatever odd reason, resembled a cigarette, you'd have to say..
'Hey, that guy kinda looks like a giant fag'

Keep up the good fight soldier, your doing well!

thanks for noticing, but really no need.
I already know it!

and hey, good call on figuring out that I think people buy game consoles nowadays to do things other than game... you're a quick one.
you were the first to get that.
have a pepsi!

Its as if the op isnt aware that we can read his post history

yeah, you can read my post history and there's no doubt I've slummed around with the fanboys, but I've never just attacked someone, or left a nasty, derogatory reply to a post that was presented without bias or at the very least, appeared to be an OP's honest opinion without the annoying fanboy influence.
I'm glad there's three competing companies and can certainly see the negatives, for gamers in general, if one them bowed out. But I have a real weakness when it comes to stopping myself from replying, in kind, to fanboys.
Especially Sony fanboys.. they're like the little bitches that nip at your heels and bark bigger than they are. Little bitches are annoying.

(obviously that's an allusion to dogs, so no ban is necessary there Jon, but feel free if you think my comparsion of Sony fanboys and Bitches crosses the line)

This is exactly the type of post which does nothing but damage the image of the Microsoft and Xbox fan base on here, really if you are going to try and turn around and paint everyone who posts in contradiction to what you say as being a Sony fanboy you really aren't going to last long on here.

you can check out my massive collection of Sony games in the top right corner there in that picture heh, altho I have gotten a whole lot more games for that system now since I got it very late the last generation but yeah. As a fan of the X360, please I implore you not insult or call out other 1/3's of the community here to cause agro, it is the last thing anyone needs and as you'll notice, will just end in bans.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

to be honest, the comparison is sort of a blank canvas. If you really take the time to understand it, you'd realize I'm not saying anything derogatory about anything or anyone.
the displeasure you feel after reading it is of your own design. I present a fairly straightforward picture using a term and a character discription that are both real and valid.
I intentionally left it up to the reader to interpret the comparison using his or her own biases and subjective stereotypes.. that you find the comparison uncomfortable is entirely on you, as you're the one who 'filled in the blanks' as it were, with YOUR OWN negative connotation.
I simply presented an objective thought... you CHOSE to see it a certain way.
what does that say about you?
do YOU have a problem with tolerance?,
with accepting others that may think differently?
think about it.

To be honest, it fails at a humor/humour because it's far too complex of a setup to begin to be funny.  However, it also fails because you lack the properly knowledge of the language (English).  If you have to explain the setup so other people get why it's funny to you, it's probably not really that funny at all.

A fag is someone who does menial labor/tasks in British English.  The slang term is a cigarette.  The slang term derives from fagot (US) faggot (British), which is a bundle of twigs.  The implication is that a cigarette resembles a twig in the mouth.  Fag as slang for a homosexual male is an Americanism.  Thus, it's doubtful that anyone would in England or Britian would call someone a fag.  Even if somehow they looked like a cigarette or a twig.  They might be called a twat, a cunt, a wanker, a ned, or a chav, but a fag would be the least likely thing a Brit would call another Brit.

And this is why your attempt at not only humor but a slam fails miserably.  Don't defend it.  Just move on.

So basically OP is saying that neither one has any really good games and xone is more fun to use when youre bored of playing games.

where exactly do I call what I wrote humorous, or admit that it's an attempt at a joke Adinn?
Can you point that out for me, because that's what YOU keep referring to it as. (I've bolded your words for you)

In my reply above I repeatedly refer to what I wrote as a comparison, in fact, I stated that three times.
Why do YOU see it as an attempt at a joke when the writer, that would be me, clearly states that it's a comparison.

I don't know.. maybe it you, not me. Maybe you should be the one to move on.

Besides, I'm pretty sure I understand the English language just fine, but I have to honestly question your ability; as comprehension of what's written is as paramount to a complete understanding of language as is the act of writing itself.. you know..

What makes you think it was intended as joke in the first place?
especially considering that, within the context of what's written, the last comment would be a 'factual' one.

You seem to be completely misinterpreting it.

Well, I buy consoles to play games. I don't know if what Microsoft added to the X1 is an admittal of defeat to a casual market, but I think it could hold them back. The only that could turn the tide for them, is, well, games. Having Titanfall as a next-gen console exclsuive and the arrival of Halo will get the ball rolling again. Kinect didn't set the world completely on fire the first time, and I feel snap is not key to being anything revolutionary in setting gaming ahead. Just initially impressing casuals who like screwing around with the TV features and some of the apps. The X1 is an interesting media box, but a jack of all trades product.

The problem is -- The Xbox One already has proven that it cannot hang with the PS4 on high caliber games. Ryse and Killzone Shadowfall are relatively equal in terms of graphics / appearance. The difference is, Ryse is a third person, relatively little action based game that ran at 900p and had numerous problems with performance with tons of Frame dips into the teens.

While things will improve somewhat down the road, the Xbox One is going to always have trouble when it tries to compete with the quality the PS4 is putting out. Whether that is performance, resolution, or sheer appearance.

So while I think the Xbox One will be 'neat' at first. It's limitations on games will only increase as the generation progresses and that will ultimately create a large disparity between the consoles and gamers will gravitate towards the better hardware and performance.

Shame you didn't play Ryse. You would have felt different about the graphics to.

But I know Im a Xbox Fan, but Totally agree that PS4 does not feel new. It just feels like PS3.5. Sorry its true. Theres next to no apps in my country. No exclusives that are interesting ( at launch ) and a split down the middle for the Eye and non eye.

Don't get me wrong, Im sure it will have some good games. But it doesn't feel next gen at all.
