Great observation. Let me add something:
Not only that but the way the so-called videogame press treat it. Videogames can be appreciated, but they are also business. And while art is meant to be appreciated, art is also business. Unfortunately, videogame press do not adress those issues properly, instead they prefer focus on reporting every fact related to videogames from a mindless and biased point-of-view, instigating controversy and fanboyism, rather than presenting it to people as a valid form of entertainment that has options to suit every person tastes and feelings, just like movies, books or music. Unfortunately this isn´t happening, despite of the size of the market, a good part of our society still don´t see videogames as a true and acessible entertainment option
