GT6 was a good game released at the worst possible time imaginable given the new consoles.

I would also like to know why you deem the PS4 to be a fad given that its completely sold out of stock and in Australia at least people are pre-ordering for march.

Well, i thing everybody can agree that sony will be ahead in the next NPD, but i still can't figure out how microsoft is ahead this week when ps4 is practically sold out at every store i went.  So I guess somehow microsoft is shipping more than sony even with the soldout  or there were unsold stock last week that was sell this week.  Forget it, i don't know what to think.  Maybe there would be some adjustment down the road.  I'm more curious about the next NPD.

I think there a more than one reason...

1. VGC is just wrong ioi based the sale in some US retailers... PS4 can be shipping/selling more outside US
2. MS have more units in the market (Xbone never was Sold Out like PS4 was)
3. MS is catching what Sony shipped weeks ago for the EU launch

NPD will give us a good picture of what is happening.

Well, Wii U could be higher but it's a step in the right direction. Around 200k this week shows there's still some people who want the system.

One and PS4 much closer than I expected.

tbh its quite suprising the One is ahead ww this week expecially if we assume every console is sold within a week
means microsoft has some serious production improvements since the yield issues
