You all are classeless people.

Especially you Pokoko Im disappointed in you.

How can you call those people fans? They didnt even buy the game and those who did picked it up at 20$

Those are no fans.

And platinum treats its fans well. Its real fans.

How does Platinum treat their real fans better than the "fake" ones? Do they get yummy DLC? HMMMM?

Because the real fans still get the game.

As I said, personally I will own all three consoles this gen , but I cannot blame people for not wanting a Wii U and buying it solely for that game. Peer pressure bro....no bueno. This will be Nintendos first and last Bayonetta.  I am not particularly a fan of Bayonetta but rather a fan of hack n slash in general and I can openly admit that the only reason I will own it is because I actually had plans to have a Wii U ahead of time. It's not drawing me to the console.

Because real fans dont go on their facebook page and post shit like this

ALL HE WANTED TO TALK ABOUT IS SOME DAMN COSPLAY FFS

I was so happy when Bayo 2 got announced for the WiiU. I had so much fun with it on the 360

Does anyone actually care about it ?

About what? Bayonetta 2? Clearly some do,

I'm sincerely glad it isn't coming to BoneStation I'd make the same mistake buying 2 as I did with 1.

Bayonetta 2 is a largely irrelevant game. A third party game only matters if it can move consoles an I doubt bayonetta 2 will do the job. It's not gonna be as bad as wonderful 101 but still.

Bayonetta 2 is in no way irrelevant.

It's a third party game, maybe, but it is one that Nintendo funds and publishes, which means they reap ALL the profits from sales.

It will make itself back in both the sales and the platform awareness it generates, the magnitude of the latter being obvious.

Also "as bad as Wonderful 101" is kind of a moot statement. It too has made a profit from sales, and a helping drive awareness among core players.

ROFLMAO. Apparently someone hasn't being keeping up with development cost news. Wonderful 101 was 50% more expensive to make compared to bayonetta 1 which didn't even net in profit with roughly around 2 million coppies.

Kamiya wasnt talking about development costs with that quote.

Yes they were. What does 1.5 times more "RESOURCES" mean then ? Read the god damn tweet again.

People^

People have to be payed by Nintendo.

He was using it to describe the scale and scope of the game( which is more than bayo)

The game's pretty, but it wanst more expensive to make than Bayo1 was . But a lot more work went into it.

Which meant the game had costed MORE THAN BAYONETTA. Again instead of sidestepping what the tweet had meant when you get more people to the job you know that it costs more than bayonetta. It's obvious the game was 50% more expensive to make compared to bayonetta 1.

If you won't buy the console for the game, obviously you weren't really that big a fan to begin with.

Besides which, it's not like Bayo 2 is the only game on the system.

Sorry but I am not a fan of bayonetta. The story is just broken but the gameplay is brilliantly insane. I am a fan of the genre in general. The only hack n slash game that has ever been  a console seller in a good long while (particularly last gen) was God of War. It pushed PS3 consoles  after E3 2009 and was bundled strongly with the PS3 when the PS3 started pulling extremely close in sales to the 360.

As for Bayonetta not being the only game on the console, those complaining must not see anything else. Everything depends on personal taste really.

Well, nobody is forcing you to buy it. :)

I have a feeling many of those complaining have a very limited knowledge of Wii U's library, both current and upcoming.

Its really nothing to write home about just yet so once again I wouldnt oversell it. No one needs to force me to buy it, as I said I will have it by association with having the Wii. Just waiting for more games to join in like X and others. Im going to have some niche fun on the Wii U.

the term hardcore gamer means  gamer who likes games that demand skill and dedication. the nintendo audience certainly fits that while players of fps multiplayer are quite far from that definition.

That hasn't always been true. Back in the 80s or 90s "hardcore" and "casual" had totally different meanings when it came to gaming. "Hardcore" merely meant that gaming was something you spent a lot of time doing, where as a "casual gamer" was someone who only played games once in awhile. There was a period of time in the early 2000s when I just didn't have the time or money to invest in gaming as much, and my interest just kind of dropped off a bit in that GC/PS2 generation, where I actually considered myself more of a "casual gamer", because I didn't play as much as I used to as a kid or teen. And that was years before this new definition of "casual gamer" popped up with the advent or the DS and Wii.

To me, personally, the new definitions are rather silly. There is nothing all that "hardcore" about preferring games that are harder, and someone shouldn't be labeled "casual" inferring that they're not a "real gamer". That's a childish mentality, to me.
