I don't get why the fanbase doesn't realize that this game wouldn't even exist without Nintendo. Yes it sucks to all the X360/PS3 Bayonetta fans that don't own the WiiU, but it's either this or nothing.

If they truly cared that much about the game, they'd buy a Wii U to play it. That's pretty much the bottom line. They should be thankful it's being made at all, thanks to Nintendo footing the bill.

One game is not enough.

this, people cant be foolish enough to believe that people will buy a WIi U for Bayonetta. They are barely buying it now for bigger games, Bayonetta aint that big to begin with. Hell most of the sales came from after the price dropped.

Regardless of who is funding the game, it'll flop if it stays a Wii U exclusive. Just stating facts here. That audience just isn't on the Wii U D:

I don't think anyone involved cares about whether it flops or not. The developers have their paychecks and are happy that they could make it. Nintendo will sell a few more consoles and the buyers will be happy about another cool game for the WiiU. The Only people who care if it will flop are the ones that will not get the game anyway and are butthurt about it.

The gamers perspective really doesn't matter here. It's always business and Nintendo does want some of the PS3/360 to make the shift to Nintendo which just is not going to happen. This was the wrong game to choose.

If you are talking about business, are you saying that this will hurt Nintendo? If not then what's your point?

Yes, its abot business and yes it will hurt Nintendo. If Nintendo doesn't popularize itself with third party titles the majority of gamers (whom play third party games) will not flock. They are trying to play teasing games, dangling a strip of bacon to people that are being fed very well elsewhere. " Hey guys, we took the game you play. Play it over here". The rest will most likely say " Yeah, we're going back to COD or Skyrim now. Thanks".

I still don't get your point. Are you really saying that exclusives are bad for a company because the consumer won't like that it's exclusive and buy something else elsewhere? Just to make sure, are you saying it would benefit Nintendo more if they would release it on PS4/X1? Or are you saying no one should have ever done a sequel if it isn't multiplatform?

On that note what's with Deadrising 3? Bad move of Microsoft to make it exclusive again?

This just seems like you're coming up with your own definition to fit your argument.

I'll tell you what a hardcore gamer is, one that spends fucking money. And I don't see many of those on WiiU, so you come up with your little ideas about what hardcore is but you're fooling yourself.

Just go and see some facebook group of Animal Crossing then. People really spent money on it. And no, I'm not fooling myself. Anyway, only this time I agree with Zero. But of course there are more "harcore" gamers on PS/Xobox brand.

And just one thing: people also spend money on Call of Duty, so they are "hardcore" gamers too?

People spend money on every game, that isn't what I meant. The type to have a collection of 30 plus games, pay for Live ect is what a 'gamer' is.

You're doing exactly the same as what you are decrying. "Oh a game isn't hardcore because it has blood, guts and guns" = so any game that isn't blood, guts and guns is hardcore. We'll see where the Bayo audience really is when the sales come in won't we

What does it need then? And Call of duty is the last thing I would call hardcore.

Animal Crossing for example, is "hardcore". You really need to focus on game "to play it real". And there is no blood and no realistic graphics on Animal Crossing

This just seems like you're coming up with your own definition to fit your argument.

a player can play a non hardcore game in a hardcore way. for example, the people who really dedicate themselves on fps multyplayer or someone that beats all npcs on wii sports resort. but it doesn't change the fact that a hardcore game is one that demands skill and dedication, while a hardcore gamer is one who wants those two things on a game.

Theres two ways to express hardcore (as far as ive seen):

1. The hardcore game itself: A game created primarily for experienced gamers, but might have some dumbing down for casuals.

2. The gamer being hardcore: They will play a game through completely until it is mastered or at least majorly understood. This person also likes collecting games and seeing what is new. They have a passion for the game or games.

IE: A hardcore COD gamer knows how to rig bombs, no-scope, quick knife kill without issues while a novice will just run and gun.

No, I'm not. You need to know that people don't need to buy an Sony/Microsoft console to be "hardcore player". I have 43 Wii games, so I'm a NIntendo hardcore gamer right? (I have more than that on my PS3 lol)

And Bayo 2 will sell poorly, I'm not blind or stupid. We all know that

Exclusives are not bad. If you have not trained your consumerbase to enjoy consuming third party they will most likely not support it. Nintendo hasn't had a decent third party console in nearly fifteen years. The Wii doesn't really even count and even Nintendo admitted most of the third party games that they wanted were the hits on the PS3 and 360.

if 1/4 of the port beggars had bought the first game or had the slightest interest in the sequel, bayo 2 wouldn't have been cancelled.

You kinda make less and less sense. Now you're saying that Nintendo shouldn't get 3rd party titles because no one would buy them?

If 3rd parties are so much better on the PS/Xbox shouldn't the fans complain to those companies that they didn't fund it?
