Title says it all, one thing to take into consideration first http://www.vg247.com/2013/11/21/gamestop-says-2-3-million-people-are-still-waiting-on-a-ps4-console/ (can't find anything on the X1 sorry), also take this into consideration http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2013-12-03-sony-expected-to-ship-1m-ps4s-per-month (once again can't find anything on X1), also I think its expected that after the holiday season some of the demand will die down.
