We don't have to forget that it's close to holidays and Japanese people celebrate those too, so maybe the boost wasn't just Dragon Quest X...

Or maybe we just need to accept at this point that without third party Nintendo homeconsoles won't rise. I cannot wait for it to become the FIFA machine in Europe.

In that case the Wii U must be doing great in the US thanks to Call of Duty Ghosts, at least they will always have the support from Activision so the Wii U will keep on selling thanks to them.

Fifa on Europe would give the Wii U a good bump.

I think I agree with you, third parties are vital and Nintendo needs those to survive in the industry, their first party won't carry them this gen.

Hope it keeps like 40k a week. Would be 40k x 12months = 480k a year only in Japan

Another doom thread pavolink? You just dont have enough. :P

On what you mentioned though. Its not third parties, its certain types of games with a certain presentation. Not every company can make a hit on Nintendo consoles. Usually they are japanese or ubi soft.

Don't leave behind GTA. But I'm pretty sure Wii U will get third party support. They tend to support fail consoles even in their darkest times.

DQ10 did not boost the Wii U.

It's an expension, which sold 70 000 on Wii U. It needs the original to work so it only sold to people who already owned the first one.

This is 100% holiday boost and the Wii U may peak at 100K the biggest weak.

It didn't boost the Wii U. The game itself, when it released back earlier in the year on Wii U, ony sold 40k first Week, right?

It is just the holidays.
