I survived the apocalypse, which is nice. I turned 18 and on the next day already was on my way to work in a Nuclear Power Plant on the opposite side of my country. Those are the most noteworthy changes, I think.

I got a 100€ raise. Yay

Why'd you give up the badge?

Well, it didn't pay well at all.  Every cop I know worked two jobs and had shitty benefits.  I make more than twice as much, now. Plus, I was never really a bad person but being a cop gave me too much temptation.  Girls were throwing themselves at me.  I enjoyed it but it probably ruined my life.  I live alone now and see my daughter/reason for living a lot less than I'd like.  There were other reasons....but I'll leave it at that.

Well, I graduated from upper secondary school, went to do my military service (it's compulsory here in Finland), and started my physics studies at university. Right now I'm changing my major from physics to IT, which shouldn't really delay me at all, I've learned, and I should graduate two and a half years from now. Oh, and I found a girlfriend. Never had one when I was younger.

I guess that's pretty much it.

Since 2008:

got a new job in finance

I cut off all my hair.

moved

moved again

Got a new car

graduated from college

got a new job in IT

got another new car

Realized that I will have a videogame backlog for the rest of my life.

congratulations,it sounds like you have done well and made good choices,it is what i quite like about many people here they are sensible where it matters

life is great as you get older if you make the right decisions unless you are damn unlucky
